- The Institute for Social Development Studies received a non-refundable grant (hereinafter referred to as the “Grant”) from the World Bank to implement the Project on Enhancing Capacity for Grassroots Level to Prepare and Respond to the COVID-19 Pandemic in Vietnam. A part of this grant is intended to be used to pay for the Individual Consultant Service Contract: Medical Equipment Expert (“Consulting Services”).
- The details of the consulting services include: Developing technical specifications for the medical equipment expected to be procured as listed in the Annex and evaluation criteria for bid documents, answering and clarifying questions/comments related from the World Bank, bidders or relevant parties; Participating in bid evaluation; Participating in the handover process of medical equipment. The consultant is expected to work 15 days within 5 months.
- The details are described in the terms of reference (TOR) attached to this letter.
- The Institute for Social Development Studies invites eligible candidates to express their interest in providing the above services. Candidates need to provide information demonstrating their ability to meet the requirements to perform this service.
- Consultants should note the provisions in Section III, paragraphs 3.14, 3.16 and 3.17 of the Procurement Regulations for Borrowers Financing Investment Projects of the World Bank, Fourth Edition, November 2020 (“Procurement Regulations”), which include provisions on the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest.
- The consultant will be selected according to the procedures for selecting individual consultants as stated in the Procurement Regulations.
